The missions where you are stuck with no weapons and have to craft items with found materials are possibly the worst missions in any COD campaign to date. The campaign gameplay is just not fun for the majority of the missions. This game has amazing graphics and did a great job with the realism when it comes to weapons handling, but that's about where the positives end unfortunately.
I will wait a few months, read the review then decide if I want to buy it or not. I will never pre-order or buy another Modern Warfare game on the first release day going forward. This idea is dumb and completely unnecessary and I truly believe they will lose some fan for this going forward. Activision forced me to sign up with my email to their platform in order for me to play the campaign while being offline. I must say this though, as a fan who only interest in playing the campaign, the need for me to create an online account is simply not needed.
Graphic is amazing on the PS5 platform, CGI is on point as well. I am not exactly sure where they are headed with the story but I feel like this new booted version is no where near the original. Unlike their counter part of previous Modern Warfare where they stick to a simple story and easy to follow along. They jump around way too much with the story and it's kind of hard to keep up at times. Not only was it short but also poorly written.
I think this particular Modern Warfare wasn't met for the players who simply want to play the campaign.
